The Ukrainian lost to her “neutral” opponent in two sets
Ukrainian tennis player Daria Snigur completed performances in qualifying French Open (Roland Garros).
In the semi-finals of the qualifying phase, the Ukrainian was unable to beat the “neutral” tennis player Oksana Selekhmetyeva. The match lasted one hour and 17 minutes.
Daria started the match with a lost serve, then took two games in a row, but then her opponent dominated the entire set. At the start of the second game, Snigur opened the scoring again, but then found herself in the role of catching up and never managed to overtake her opponent.
In the first round of qualification, we recall that Daria turned out to be stronger than the Greek Despina Papamikhail. Later in the Ukrainian confrontation, Yulia Starodubtseva defeated Katarina Zavatskaya.
Five Ukrainians entered the Roland Garros main draw. The first racket of Ukraine, Elina Svitolina, who received the 17th tournament number, will perform at the Grand Slam clay tournament.
