The match lasted 1 hour 11 minutes. Potapova served three aces, committed six double faults and converted six of nine break points. Rakhimova didn’t make a single ace, committed four double faults and won two out of seven break points.

In the second round of Roland Garros, Potapova’s opponent will be the 76th racket in the world, Swiss Victoria Golubic, who defeated the representative of the Czech Republic Barbora Krejcikova (26th in the WTA world ranking) in the first round with a score of 7 :6 (7:4), 6:4.
