Russian tennis player Anastasia Potapova moved to 48th place in the updated August 1 WTA rankings.
The 21-year-old Russian moved up from 59th place after reaching the tournament final in Prague last week. Her rival in the final, the Czech Maria Bouzkova, who won the match, fell from 66th to 46th place.
In the top 20, last week brought no change. The ranking is still led by Iga Šwiętek, followed by Anett Kontaveit and Maria Sakkari. The best of Russians Daria Kasatkina – 12th.
