The Ukrainian lost to the representative of New Zealand in three sets
Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Beindl was defeated in the first round of the tournament WTA 125 in the Croatian city of Makarska.
At the start of the main draw of the competition, Beindl lost to the representative of New Zealand, Lulu Sun. The tennis players spent one hour and forty minutes on the court.
In the first set, the Ukrainian did not win a single game on her serve – 1:6. In the second game, Katerina took confident revenge – 6:2. In the final set, Beindl gave her opponent three more games on her serve and lost 2:6.
Last week, Beindl reached the quarter finals of the tournament in Brescia, where she lost to the eventual winner of the competition, Katarina Zawacka.
