Ukrainian tennis player Nadezhda Kichenok finished playing in doubles Roland Garros 2024.
The Ukrainian, together with Miyu Kato from Japan, lost to the duet Coco Gauff / Katerina Sinyakova (USA / Czech Republic) in the quarterfinals. Nadezhda and Miyu were unable to oppose their opponents, managing to take only two games in the match.
Let us remind you that in the first round Kichenok and Kato beat Australians Daria Saville and Ayla Tomljanovic. Next, the Ukrainian and Japanese defeated Maya Lumsden / Yafan Wang (Great Britain / China). In the third round, the duo dealt with second seeds Nicole Melichar from the USA and Ellen Perez from Australia.
In the doubles at Roland Garros 2024, Marta Kostyuk remained the only Ukrainian. Marta, in a duet with Elena-Gabriela Ruse from Romania, will meet the “neutral” tandem Mirra Andreeva / Vera Zvonareva in the quarterfinals.
