Athletistic/Tennis. Former Serbian world number one tennis player Novak Djokovic has started training for the first time after knee surgery and plans to recover for Wimbledon 2024. This was reported by tennis journalist and podcast host Craig Shapiro.

“Reliable sources tell me that Novak fired his first shot after knee surgery. He is doing his best to play at Wimbledon. We’ll see,” Shapiro wrote on social media.

Remember that Djokovic was injured during Roland Garros. In the 1/8 final match against Francisco Cerundolo, Djokovic was injured, but won in five sets. However, he had to retire in the quarter-finals, which ruined his chances of retaining the world number one title and defending his Roland Garros title from last year.

Wimbledon 2024 will take place from July 1 to 14.
