The Ukrainian lost to Yulia Putintseva from Kazakhstan in two sets
Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina completed performances at WTA 250 V Birmingham.
In the second round of the event, the Ukrainian lost to the representative of Kazakhstan, Yulia Putintseva. The meeting lasted 58 minutes.
Kalinina made five double faults during the match. And in the second set, the Ukrainian failed to take a single game. The overall score of the games is 6:3 and 6:0 in favor of Putintseva.
Let us remind you that Angelina Kalinina became the fourth tennis player from Ukraine in the women’s singles at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has approved a request from the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Ukraine to provide a license for the Kalinina Games. Previously, Marta Kostyuk, Elina Svitolina and Dayana Yastremskaya confirmed their participation in the Olympics in Paris.
