Serbian world number three Novak Djokovic returned to training on the tennis court two weeks after knee surgery.
Djokovic posted a video of the session on social media. At the beginning of June, the 37-year-old tennis player prematurely ended his performance at Roland Garros, withdrawing from the quarter-finals due to a meniscus injury. Djokovic then underwent surgery.
– Tennis, I missed you! We continue to get stronger day by day,” Djokovic wrote.
Earlier, media reported that Djokovic was likely to miss the Wimbledon tournament, which will be held from July 1 to 14. The Serbian confirmed on Tuesday that he would participate in the Paris Olympic Games.
Djokovic holds the record for most Grand Slam singles titles for men and women, along with Margaret Court (24). The Serbian has competed in four Olympics and won a bronze medal at the 2008 Games.
