Tennis player Varvara Gracheva who played for Russia until 2023, joined the French team for the Paris Olympics, reports the press service of the French Tennis Federation.
Caroline Garcia, Clara Burel and Diane Parry will also be present in the women’s singles, and Hugo Humbert, Gaël Monfils, Arthur Fils and Corentin Moutet in the men’s singles.
Gracheva is 23 years old and ranks 69th in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings. Last summer, a native of the Moscow region received French citizenship.
The Olympic Games in the French capital will be held from July 26 to August 11.
