Italian world number one Jannik sinner said he was very sorry for his beloved Anna Kalinskaya after losing at the WTA 500 tournament in Berlin.

On Sunday, Russian tennis player Kalinskaya failed to win the title at a tournament in Berlin, losing to American Jessica Pegula. Sinner then won the ATP 500 tournament in Hull, beating Pole Hubert Hurkacz.

— Today my girlfriend Anna played the final of the tournament in Berlin. She lost with five match points. So I really feel sorry for her. She had a great week as well,” Sinner said on the court after the match.
