The draw for the main round of the women’s part of the prestigious tennis competition in Great Britain has taken place.
Rivals of Ukrainian tennis players in the main draw of Wimbledon 2024 have been determined. Please note that this year the competition will be held from July 1 to July 14.
During the draw, three of our representatives were seeded: Marta Kostyuk, Elina Svitolina and Dayana Yastremskaya. This is a record for Ukrainian women in this tournament.
As for the lot itself, he was loyal to the Ukrainians. None of them had to play against seeded opponents at the start of the competition.
In addition, one of our tennis players had to play against a representative of the aggressor country.
