In the semi-finals, the world number 47 beat the American Emma Navarro, ranked 19th in the WTA rankings.
The match lasted 2 hours 22 minutes and ended with the score 7:5, 2:6, 6:3.
In the final, Schneider will face Victoria Tomova or Donna Vekic.
For Schneider, 20, this is the first WTA-500 tournament final of her career, and with this feat she will enter the top 40 of the rankings.
