Athletistic/Tennis. Former world number nine and Davis Cup finalist Andrei Chesnokov has expressed his opinion on the favorites at Wimbledon 2024 in the men’s singles.

“I believe that the main contenders for victory at Wimbledon will be Sinner and Alcaraz. As for Djokovic, he suffered an injury and underwent surgery. It is very important to know how fit he is now. Medvedev also has a chance to win the title, but he has not played enough matches on grass this season. It is important that he plays more to show better results. The first rounds of the tournament will show how ready the players are,” Chesnokova quotes RB Sport.

Wimbledon 2024 will take place from July 1 to 14. The current defending champion is Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, who defeated Serbian Novak Djokovic in the 2023 final.
