Russia’s First Racket Daniel Medvedev reached the second round of the Wimbledon tournament.
In the first round, the Russian, seeded fifth in the tournament, beat the American Alexander Kovacevich with a score of 6:3, 6:4, 6:2. The meeting lasted 1 hour 47 minutes.
Medvedev claimed his 230th victory in an ATP match since the start of the 2020 season, the most by an ATP player this decade.
In the next round, the Russian will face the winner of the match between the French Alexandre Muller and Hugo Gaston.
