Athletistic/Tennis. Honored coach of Russia Viktor Yanchuk stressed that the match against American tennis player Alexander Kovacevich, ranked 88th in the world rankings, was not a serious test for Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev.

“Kovacevich is not the level of opponent who could test Medvedev’s skills. Daniil confidently won the match. He played with reserve and controlled the match. Medvedev demonstrated his strength and endurance. But the real tests are to come. It is too early to draw final conclusions about his performance,” Yanchuk noted in an interview with a correspondent of “Championship”.

Daniil Medvedev scored a crushing victory over Alexander Kovacevic in the first round of Wimbledon 2024 with a score of 6:3, 6:4, 6:2.
