Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva broke down in tears after losing his first round match at Wimbledon.
Andreeva lost to Czech Brenda Fruhvirtova with a score of 6:1, 3:6, 2:6, while the Russian led 3:0 in the second set. After an unsuccessful start to the second set, Frukhvirtova took a medical timeout, after which she turned the tide of the confrontation.
At the end of the match, the 17-year-old Czech could not hold back her tears of joy. Her counterpart Andreeva burst into tears because of the loss and quickly left the court.
At last year’s tournament, which was the Russian’s debut, Andreeva reached the 1/8 finals.
