“It was a great match. I haven’t lost on Court 1 yet. I hope to play many more matches there. I’ve won here 9 or 10 times. I said that last year before the semi-finals. But then I ended up playing on Centre Court and lost,” Medvedev said after the match.
Medvedev will next play at Wimbledon with the winner of the match between Frenchmen Alexandre Muller and Hugo Gaston.
