Athletistic/Tennis. Russian tennis players Daniil Medvedev, Mirra Andreeva, Pavel Kotov and Diana Schneider have accepted the invitation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to participate in the Paris Olympic Games, the organization’s official website reports.

Earlier, tennis players Andrei Rublev, Karen Khachanov, Daria Kasatkina and Lyudmila Samsonova refused to participate in the competition.

The Russian Tennis Federation (RFF)’s bid for the upcoming Olympics also included Aslan Karatsev and Veronika Kudermetova, who have not yet received an invitation from the IOC.

At the last Olympic Games in Tokyo, Russian tennis players won the most medals – 3. Karane Khachanov won silver, the pair Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova/Andrey Rublev won gold, and the pair Elena Vesnina/Aslan Karatsev won silver.
