Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev failed to reach the second round of the Wimbledon tournament.
Rublev, who was seeded sixth, was defeated by the Argentine at world number 122 Francisco Comesana with a score of 4:6, 7:5, 2:6, 6:7 (5:7). The tennis players spent almost three hours on the court.
Rublev lost for the first time in his career in the first round of Wimbledon.
Comesana made his Grand Slam main draw debut on Tuesday, the 23-year-old Argentinian playing the second grass-court match of his career. In the second round, he will face the winner of the Federico Coria (Argentina) – Adam Walton (Australia) match.
