Medvedev finished the clay-court season on a high level, reaching the quarter-finals in Madrid and advancing to the fourth round in Paris. Daniil then played his first match on grass at the Terra Wortmann Open as the third seed.
He beat Nuno Borges in straight sets in his first match, but then sensationally lost to eventual semi-finalist Zhang Zhizhen in the second round.
Medvedev opened Wimbledon against Aleksandar Kovacevic in the first round and won 6:3, 6:4, 6:2.
Müller plays in both ATP and Challenger Series tournaments. His season record is 10-11. Reaching the fourth round in Rome was his best result.
Müller decided to take part in some clay court challenges after Roland Garros. He won the title in Lyon, beating compatriot and top seed Hugo Gaston in an epic final. He then played his first grass court match of the season against Gaston in the first round of Wimbledon and won 6-4, 7-6 (2), 7-6 (5).
