Medvedev reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon after Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov refused to continue the fight in the first set. Sinner defeated American tennis player Ben Shelton – 6:2, 6:4, 7:6 (11:9).

“It’s going to be tough for both of us. I trained with him earlier this week. He played very well. It’s going to be tough. I’m looking forward to meeting you. It’s a big challenge for me. That’s what I’m training for. I hope we have a good match,” Sinner said at a press conference.
The score in personal matches is 6:5 in favor of the Russian, but Sinner has won the last five matches.
