Athletistic/Tennis. Russian tennis player Anna Kalinskaya has refused to continue her match against Kazakh Elena Rybakina in the 1/8 finals of Wimbledon 2024.
With a score of 3:6, 0:3 in the second set, Kalinskaya withdrew from the match. She had already complained of wrist pain and took a medical break. Thus, Rybakina automatically qualified for the next round.
In the quarter-finals of Wimbledon, Rybakina will meet the winner of the duet Elina Svitolina (Ukraine) – Xinyu Wang (China).
