“You can’t hurt me.” Djokovic on fans whistling at Wimbledon

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic After his match against Denmark’s Holger Rune in the fourth round of Wimbledon, he commented on the behaviour of the fans who were booing him.

Djokovic defeated 15th seed Holger Rune with a score of 6:3, 6:4, 6:2. The meeting lasted just over two hours.

– To all the people who showed me respect, thank you, I appreciate it. To all those who decide to disrespect the player, in this case me, good night, good night. I know they were supporting Rune, but it’s just an excuse to boo me. I don’t accept it, I’ve been on tour for 20 years, I know all this stuff. I focus on the people who are respectful and who paid their tickets to come see the match. I’ve played in a much more hostile environment, believe me. You can’t hurt me,” Djokovic said after the match.

The Serbian will face Australian Alex de Minaur (9) to reach the semi-finals of the tournament.
