The Ukrainian lost to Lucia Bronzetti from Italy in a tense match
Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Bindl lost in the second round of the WTA 125 tournament in France Contrexéville.
The Ukrainian’s opponent was the fourth seeded Lucia Bronzetti from Italy. The tense three-set match lasted almost three and a half hours.
In the first set, Beindl saved three set points, but still lost. The Ukrainian was losing 1:5 in the second set, saved a match point and managed to snatch victory. The final set was also difficult. Beindl could not stand the fight, losing four games in a row at the end.
Let us recall that in the first round the Ukrainian beat the Frenchwoman Carole Monnet. At the tournament in France, Beindl broke a series of three defeats in a row.
