Ukrainian tennis player Ludmila Kichenok lost in the quarterfinals of the doubles Wimbledon 2024.
Ludmila performed in a pair with Elena Ostapenko from Latvia. In the quarterfinals, their opponents were Katerina Siniakova from the Czech Republic and Taylor Tynsand from the USA.
Sinyakova and Tynsand easily won the first set, giving up only one game. In the second set, Kichenok and Ostapenko took the lead with a break, but could not hold on to the advantage and lost the match.
Lyudmyla Kichenok has finished her performances at Wimbledon 2024. Earlier, the Ukrainian withdrew from the mixed doubles, where she played with Croatian Mate Pavic.
Nadiya Kichenok, who played with Timea Babos from Hungary, also lost in the quarterfinals of the doubles. Marta Kostyuk and Elena-Gabriela Ruse from Romania finished their performance in the third round, and the Ukrainian duo of Angelina Kalinina and Dayana Yastremska lost in the first round of Wimbledon.
