Czech athlete defeats Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina with a strong-willed style
Czech tennis player Barbora Krejcikova became the second finalist Wimbledon 2024.
In the semi-finals, Barbora faced Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan. Krejcikova won a strong-willed victory in three sets, their duel lasted two hours.
In the first set, Rybakina made a 4:0 run, then began to lose her serves, but still took the set. The second set was an equal fight, Krejcikova needed only one break to win it.
In the decisive set, the tennis players confidently took their own serves for a long time. The fate of the match was decided by the seventh game, in which Krejcikova made a break, and brought the match to victory.
Barbora will face Italy’s Jasmine Paolini, who won a close battle against Donna Vekic, in the women’s singles final. The Wimbledon 2024 women’s decider will take place on Saturday, July 13.
