Then Medvedev played only eight games against Grigor Dimitrov in the first set of the fourth round and the Bulgarian withdrew due to injury. And then Daniil played an epic five-set quarterfinal and beat world number one Jannik Sinner with a score of 6-7 (7-9), 6-4, 7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-3.
Alcaraz and Medvedev have already faced each other six times. The Spaniard leads the personal meetings with a score of 4-2.
