Athletistic/Tennis. Czech tennis player Barbora Krejcikova, ranked 32nd in the world, has become the women’s singles champion at Wimbledon in 2024.

In the final, Krejcikova defeated Italian tennis player Yasmin Paolini, ranked 7th in the world, in three sets.

This is Barbora’s second Grand Slam singles title. She won her first in 2021 at Roland Garros, beating Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the final.

Krejcikova also has seven Grand Slam titles in doubles and three in mixed doubles. She was world number one in doubles and number two in singles.

At the end of Wimbledon 2024, Barbora Krejcikova will return to the top 10 of the world rankings and will take tenth place.
