Czech tennis player Barbora Krejcikova has moved up from 32nd to 10th place in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, according to the organization’s official website.
This weekend, Krejcikova won the Wimbledon tournament by beating Italian Jasmine Paolini in the deciding match with a score of 6:2, 2:6, 6:4. Paolini moves up two places and completes the top 5.
The ranking is headed by Polish representative Iga Szwiatek, followed by American Cori Gauff and Belarusian Arina Sabalenko.
Russia’s Lyudmila Samsonova moved up two places to 13th, with Daria Kasatkina one row higher.
