Athletistic / Tennis. Following Wimbledon 2024, the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings have been updated. The most notable change was for Czech Barbora Krejcikova.

Krejcikova won the Grand Slam tournament in London, which allowed her to move up from 32nd to 10th place in the WTA rankings. In the Wimbledon final, the Czech broke the resistance of Italian Jasmine Paolini (6:2, 2:6, 6:4). It is worth noting that Paolini has gained two places, now taking 5th place in the world rankings.

Iga Swiatek remains the leader in women’s tennis. The second place in the ranking goes to the American, followed by the American Cori Gauff and the Belarusian Arina Sabalenka.

  • Alcaraz, after winning Wimbledon, failed to overtake Djokovic in the ATP rankings

Russian Lyudmila Samsonova has moved up two places and is now the 13th racket in the world. Only one line above her is the strongest representative of Russia, Daria Kasatkina.

It should be noted that Mirra Andreeva, following her failure at Wimbledon, has lost eight places in the ranking and is now ranked 31st.
