Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) published an updated ranking of the best tennis players in the world.
Ukraine’s number one tennis player Marta Kostyuk retained her 19th place. Dayana Yastremska rose to 25th place, while Elina Svitolina lost nine positions and fell to 30th place.
Daria Snigur (No. 105), Yulia Starodubtseva (No. 123), Kateryna Baindl (No. 169) and Katarina Zavatska (No. 179) achieved a significant rise. Lesya Tsurenko now occupies the 90th position: the Ukrainian lost 30 lines in the rating.
There have also been a number of changes in the top 10. The world’s number one tennis player remains Iga Swiatek. Jasmine Paolini has climbed to fifth place, and Danielle Collins and Barbora Krejcikova now round out the top ten.
