Athletistic / Tennis. The press service of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) has published the first version of the ranking of the strongest tennis players on the planet in men’s singles after the end of Wimbledon 2024. There have been three changes in the top 10.
Australian Alex De Minaur moved up from ninth to sixth place. Russian Andrei Rublev, following a failure in London, lost two positions and now occupies eighth place in the world rankings. Norwegian Casper Ruud fell from eighth to ninth place in the rankings.
Italian Jannik Sinner remains world number one. Serbian Novak Djokovic continues to occupy second place in the rankings. The 24-time Grand Slam winner lost to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final in three sets. But Alcaraz will continue to finish in the top 3 of the ATP rankings. In 2024, he will simply confirm his points at Wimbledon, managing to win the Grand Slam on grass for the second time in a row.
The best Russian remains Daniil Medvedev, fifth in the ATP rankings.
