Athletistic / Tennis. Russian Tennis Federation (RFF) President Shamil Tarpishchev believes that the world’s fifth-ranked tennis player, Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev, should be in good shape for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Last week, the 28-year-old Russian managed to reach the semi-finals of Wimbledon 2024.

“Medvedev cannot be in bad shape now, because at Wimbledon he did not receive a crazy load. In fact, in two weeks he had only one difficult match and that’s it. In 2023 he had his fill in London, and now before the Olympics he must be in good shape,” Tarpishchev reportedly said.

At Wimbledon 2024, Daniil Medvedev reached the semi-finals, where he lost to future Grand Slam winner Carlos Alcaraz of Spain in four sets.

The 2024 Olympic tennis tournament in the French capital will begin on July 27 and last until August 4. The tennis competitions will be held on clay at Roland Garros.
