Athletistic/Tennis. Former tennis player and 1976 Roland Garros winner, Italian Adriano Panatta, has expressed his opinion on Novak Djokovic’s matches with world leader, Italian Jannik Sinner, and Spanish two-time Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz.

“Djokovic reached the Wimbledon final with an easy win against the often self-critical Rune, but I was wrong to think that the match with Musetti would be over any quicker. However, against Alcaraz it was clear that Novak was clearly behind him.

Carlos is currently very strong. He and Sinner are high in the ranking. The logic of forming a ranking based on last year’s results does not seem obvious to me, but I am sure that Djokovic will no longer be able to defeat either Alcaraz or Sinner,” Panatta said in the “phone call” podcast, quoted by Corriere Dello Sport.
