Russian Schneider climbed to 23rd in the WTA rankings after winning the Budapest tournament

Russian tennis player Diane Schneider moved up from 28th to 23rd in the updated Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings.

This weekend, the 20-year-old athlete, who will participate in the Paris Olympics, won the tournament in Budapest. In the final match, the Russian defeated Belarusian Alexandra Sasnovich with a score of 6:4, 6:4.

The ranking is headed by Polish representative Iga Szwiatek, followed by American Cori Gauff and Belarusian Arina Sabalenko.
