Legendary British tennis player Andy Murray announced that Olympic Games 2024 in Paris will be his last tournament in his career.

“I have arrived in Paris for my last tennis tournament – ​​the Olympics. Competing for Great Britain was certainly the most memorable of my career and I am very proud that I will be able to do it for the last time.”

Murray will compete in both singles and doubles at the Paris Games. The draw for the 2024 Olympic tennis tournament will take place on July 25.

Andy Murray is a former world number one and the only two-time Olympic singles champion in history (London 2012 and Rio 2016). The Briton won Wimbledon twice in 2013 and 2016, and also won the US Open title in 2012.

The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in France from July 26 to August 11. The competition will feature 329 sets of medals in 32 sports.
