Athletistic/Tennis. International Tennis Federation (ITF) President David Haggerty said that the issue of admitting Russian tennis players to the Olympic Games in Paris, France, had been considered by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
“The IOC set up a special commission that conducted a thorough investigation to ensure that the athletes competing did indeed meet the neutrality status,” Haggerty told Inside the Games.
This issue has become topical again following the publication of a report by the international human rights organisation Global Rights Compliance (GRC).
