On July 31, alongside Carlos Alcaraz, Nadal failed to qualify for the semifinals of the doubles tournament at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. In the quarterfinals, the Spaniards lost to the American duo Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek with a score of 2:6, 4:6.
Nadal also participated in the singles tournament. In the first round he defeated Hungarian Marton Fucsovics (6:1, 4:6, 6:4), but in the second round he lost to Serbian Novak Djokovic with a score of 1:6, 4:6.
Nadal won gold in singles at the 2008 Olympics and in doubles at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, competing with Mark Lopez.
