In the quarter-finals, Murray and Evans lost to Americans Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul (3rd seeds). The match lasted 1 hour 17 minutes and ended with a score of 6:2, 6:4.
Earlier, Murray, 37, announced he would end his professional career after the Paris Olympics.
