On August 7, Kudermetova first lost to American Shelby Rogers in the singles semi-final with a score of 3:6, 4:6, then, paired with Chinese Zhang Shuai, lost to a pair of players from Chinese tennis – Xu Yifan and Yang Zhaoxuan – with a score of 7: 5, 2: 6, 7:10.
In the doubles final of the tournament, Yifan and Zhaoxuan will face Zhan Haoqing of Chinese Taipei and Shuko Aoyama of Japan. The match will take place on August 8 and will start at 00:00 Moscow time.
In the singles final, Shelby Rogers will face Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina. The meeting will take place on August 8, starting at 02:00 Moscow time.
