Alcaraz beats Auger-Alassime to become first finalist at Olympic tennis tournament in Paris

Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz reached the final of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in men’s singles.

Alcaraz, who was seeded second, beat the Canadian Felix Auger-Alassime (13) with a score of 6:1, 6:1. The meeting lasted 1 hour and 16 minutes.

The 21-year-old Spaniard has become the first finalist of the Olympic tournament. The three-time Grand Slam winner will compete for the gold medal at the Paris Games with the winner of the match Novak Djokovic (Serbia, 1) – Lorenzo Musetti (Italy, 11).

Auger-Alassime will play the bronze medal match, his opponent will be the loser of the Djokovic-Musetti pair.
