Acting Governor of the Samara Region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev congratulated the tennis player Diane Schneider by winning the silver medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

On Sunday, Schneider and Mirra Andreeva lost to the Italian duo Sara Errani/Jasmine Paolini (3rd seed) in the final doubles match with a score of 6:2, 1:6, 7:10. This medal was the first for Russian athletes at the Games in the French capital, which will end on August 11.
