Rafael Nadal withdrew from the US Open in New York on August 7. In 2024, the 38-year-old Spaniard has only played one Grand Slam tournament: Roland Garros. This season, Nadal has only managed to reach the final in one ATP tournament. It was in Båstad (Sweden) where he lost to the Portuguese Nuno Borges in the deciding match.
The Laver Cup 2024 will be held from September 20 to 22 in Berlin (Germany).
