“Unfortunately, I have to withdraw from the tournament in Toronto because my visa has not been approved. It’s really disappointing.
Very sad to miss one of my favorite tournaments. Good luck to everyone in this tournament! See you in Cincinnati!” Azarenka wrote.
Azarenka was scheduled to face Belinda Bencic of Switzerland in the first round.
