Russian tennis player Diane Schneider reached the third round of the doubles tournament in Cincinnati.
Schneider, alongside the Czech Linda Noskova, beat the pair Magda Linett (Poland) / Payton Stearns (USA).
The match lasted 1 hour 29 minutes and ended with a score of 6:3, 7:6.
In the next round, Schneider and Noskova will face the Italians Sara Errani/Yasmin Paolini.
At the 2024 Olympics, Diana Schneider, together with Mirra Andreeva, became silver medalists in the doubles tennis competition. In the final, the Russians lost to Errani and Paolini.
