Athletistic/Tennis. The Opta supercomputer did not include Russian tennis players among the top five favorites for the men’s Grand Slam tournament – US Open 2024.

Five Russians are participating in the US Open: Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Karen Khachanov, Pavel Kotov and Roman Safiullin.

According to the computer, Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner is in first place with a 17% probability of victory. Second place is taken by Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz (10%), third is Serbian Novak Djokovic (9%), fourth is Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov (4.8%), and the top five is closed by German Alexander Zverev. (4.6%).

The current US Open champion is Novak Djokovic, who beat Russian Daniil Medvedev 6:3, 7:6, 6:3 in last year’s final.
