Russian tennis player Andrei Rublev beat the Brazilian Thiago Seibuta during the first round match of the US Open.
The match ended 6:3, 7:6 (7:3), 7:5 in favor of Rublev, who received the sixth seed of the tournament. The fight lasted 2 hours 18 minutes. In the third set, with a score of 5:5, Seibut fell on his serve and injured his leg. The Brazilian was forced to take a medical break.
In the next round, Rublev will meet the winner of the match between American Christopher Eubanks (wild card) and Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech.
