Wozniacki reaches third round of US Open, Osaka out of tournament

Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki reached the third round of the US Open.

In the second round of the US Open, the former world number one beat the representative of Mexico Renato Sarasua in two series – 6:3, 6:3. The duration of the match was 1 hour and 49 minutes.

In the next round, Wozniacki will face Frenchwoman Jessica Ponchet, who advanced to the third round thanks to the refusal of the tournament’s fourth seed, Kazakh Elena Rybakina.
