Australian tennis player Nick Kirios shared his expectations for the upcoming Montreal Masters second round match against Russia’s Daniil Medvedev.
— Medvedev is a tough player. He has such an unusual style, just a beast. It will be interesting to watch my level compared to him.
Of course, it won’t be easy. Physically and mentally I’m not as fresh as I would like. But I hope he will be a bit tired after the tournament in Los Cabos. It’s not so bad if you lose to Medvedev. Many in the world are losing to him,” the ATP news service quoted Kirios as saying.
Kirios and Medvedev have met three times in their careers, with the Aussie winning in two matches.
