Athletistic/ Tennis. Former world number one, Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal, has commented for the first time on the doping case of Italian Jannik Sinner.
Nadal noted that he knows Sinner and does not believe the Italian could have doped.
“I have a positive or negative quality – I believe in the honesty of people. I know Sinner and I don’t think he wanted or intended to dope. Justice is justice. And we shouldn’t support it only when they decide what to do. We want them to decide,” Nadal was quoted as saying by The Tennis Letter, citing El Hormiguero.
Previously, it was reported that Sinner had tested positive for doping twice in March. However, Yannick escaped disqualification.
